Ben Green
Founder
Over his extensive career, Ben has forged successful partnerships with the world’s leading retailers, consistently delivering stellar results that empower clients to fortify their core businesses. Equipped with a BSc in European Studies and proficiency in three languages, Ben brings a truly global perspective to his work. Ben’s academic pursuits extend to the prestigious BSSA Oxford University Summer School program, which he attended in 2012. In addition, Ben achieved an Executive MBA in 2020.
Ben’s financial acumen extends to strategic profit and loss management. Analysing financial data and forecasting future performance, he guides businesses towards sustainable growth and profitability. Balancing cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and investment in growth opportunities.
Combining creativity with market insight, Ben excels in brand creation and development. He crafts compelling brand narratives that resonate with target audiences, using strategic brand positioning and distinctive visual and verbal identities to help brands stand out in crowded markets.
His expertise in product manufacturing encompasses production processes, quality controls, and supply chain management. His attention to detail ensures high-quality products, while his familiarity with the latest manufacturing technologies enables process optimization and improved efficiency.
Janice Smith
Sales and Marketing Director
Janice’s illustrious 20-year tenure in the travel retail industry has seen her excel in a variety of roles, accumulating a wealth of experience. Her comprehensive understanding of operational and bond facilities grants her a unique perspective on the distinct needs and goals of airline clients. A decade spent as an airline buyer allowed her to proficiently manage an annual £50M+ P&L, deftly handling product negotiations, marketing, and training.
Her skill set further broadened during a ten-year spell as a supplier within the travel retail sector. This role saw her partnering with brand owners and distributors to bring a diverse range of products, including fragrances, cosmetics, jewellery, and accessories, to market. Janice’s enthusiasm for the industry is palpable, with a consistent emphasis on meeting customer needs. Her sharp ability to spot emerging market trends and the ‘next big thing’ underlines her value to our team.
Janice’s proficiency extends into product development, where she’s proven her innovative approach and market insight. By merging user-centric design with functionality, she creates new products that deeply resonate with the target audience. Her ability to guide a product from conception to launch underlines her invaluable contributions to the field of product development.
Janice is also renowned for her exceptional networking abilities. With a warm, welcoming, engaging personality and a genuine interest in people, she effortlessly connects with individuals across all levels of the industry. Her talent for fostering meaningful relationships has been integral in building bridges between stakeholders.
Emily Taylor
Brand Director
Emily, our innovative Brand Director, possesses over 19 years of FMCG experience in travel retail, heading up the buying teams for a number of leading airlines . Her expertise spans strategic and brand partnerships to trend forecasting. Currently, she spearheads YV Global with her brand innovation, product development and leadership skills. Emily consistently inspires change, making her an industry trailblazer. She’s celebrated for her relentless pursuit of growth and her acumen in driving business success.

Michelle Leigh
Financial Controller
Michelle is our Financial Controller with more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Alongside her career in Finance, she serves as Chair of a Suicide Prevention charity, responsible for fundraising and delivering free suicide prevention programmes to schools and universities across the UK.
Outside of her professional commitments, Michelle is passionate about photography, travelling, playing backgammon, and is a dedicated supporter of Tottenham Hotspur. Her proudest achievement to date is delivering a Suicide Prevention Education event at No. 11 Downing Street.
Lynda Payne
Finance & Logistics Executive
Lynda is our Finance and Account Executive here at YV Global and builds relationships with our customers. Lynda brings more than 29 years’ experience to the business, following previous work in designer fashion and homewares.
Marine Toubel
Head of Domestic Wholesale
Marine is our Head of Domestic Wholesale with 15 years’ experience in Sales and Operations in retail/Distribution and airline industries. Alongside with overlooking Sales and Account Management for major wholesale customers, she also takes part in developing our new and current jewellery brands by sourcing new product ranges and meeting new suppliers.Marine speaks three languages and has a Master of Management degree (specialising in Business Strategies) from the European Business School in Rennes, France.
Suzanne Walker
Account Manager
Suzanne brings over three decades of extensive expertise within the aviation industry, finance and customer-facing domains. Her remarkable track record demonstrates her adeptness at thriving in high-pressure environments while upholding an unwavering commitment to precision and thoroughness. With her role encompassing the critical aspects of demand projection and logistical planning, Suzanne’s proficiency in procurement and bond management consistently yields enhanced operational efficiencies and notable cost reductions.
Collaborating seamlessly with Janice in Sales, Suzanne plays a pivotal role in fostering a harmonious and synchronized team approach. Beyond her professional endeavours, Suzanne is an avid equestrian, finding relaxation in the pursuit of horsewomanship.
Simon Saban
Demand Planning
With over 20 years’ experience in purchasing and demand planning within the luxury watches and jewellery sector, Simon brings a highly commercial and strategic approach to supply chain management. His role encompasses sales forecasting, forward intake planning, and ensuring stock availability in line with evolving demand trends, while meeting defined stock targets. He provides clear, data-driven reporting to stakeholders and leverages automation and advanced analytical tools to support informed, strategic decision-making.
Simon works closely with suppliers to build strong, long-term partnerships and to proactively manage supply chain risk, ensuring continuity and efficiency across the supply network. Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered cost savings and implemented process improvements across previous organisations, driving measurable operational and commercial benefits. A collaborative and experienced team player, Simon brings a broad, end-to-end perspective and works effectively across teams to support shared business objectives.
Niamh Alexander
Senior Creative
Niamh is our Senior Creative at YV, leading design development across a growing brand portfolio. Working closely with Tom, she drives creative concepts across print, digital and in-person activations balancing the distinct identities of multiple brands while ensuring every touchpoint is cohesive, considered and visually compelling.
With a decade of experience in design, Niamh has worked with household names including Kellogg’s and Warburtons, bringing a breadth of commercial and cause-led perspective to her work at YV. Known for her considered approach to creative direction, she is equally passionate about the infrastructure behind great design, championing efficient workflows and robust design systems.
Niamh studied Events Management at Canterbury Christ Church University, a background that lends itself naturally to the live and experiential side of her work, from in-person activations to POS design. Outside of design, Niamh enjoys painting and photography, drawing inspiration from both to enhance her work and keep her creativity vibrant.
Diana Naiman
Sales Administrator
Diana is our dedicated Admin Sales Assistant, playing a key role in keeping things organised and running smoothly. She handles a variety of tasks, from managing samples and processing orders to supporting both the sales team and our clients.
Diana’s attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks ensures that everything stays on track and that everyone gets the support they need. Her positive attitude and willingness to help make her an essential part of our team, always working behind the scenes to keep things efficient and on point. Recently, she discovered her love for crafting pearl jewellery, which has become a special focus for her. Diana is fluent in four languages and has previously lived in both Italy and Spain.
Tom Smillie-Bounds
Graphic Designer
Tom is a graphic designer at YV, bringing a multi-faceted skillset with a strong focus on branding. His approach is rooted in finding the right design solution for each client, taking the time to understand each brand’s story and bring it to life through purposeful design.
At YV, Tom works across a diverse range of projects, producing bespoke and engaging artwork for a variety of clients while often balancing multiple deadlines. With a keen eye for brand consistency, he ensures every piece of work cohesively communicates your message. When he is not designing, Tom can be found on the tennis court, behind a camera, or experimenting in the kitchen.
Josh Latchford
Brand & Account Executive
Josh is an Brand & Account Executive at YV, supporting the day-to-day management of client accounts across our diverse portfolio of brands. His role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding each brand’s requirements and helping coordinate projects from the initial brief through to delivery.
Across his work at YV, Josh gets involved with presentations, product launches, ecommerce content, marketplace integration and the preparation of retail-ready assets. With a strong eye for detail, he works closely with clients, suppliers and the wider team to ensure deadlines are met and each brand is represented clearly and consistently.
After attending university in Sheffield, where he achieved a First-Class Honours degree in Business and Marketing, Josh brings a combination of organisation, creativity and commercial awareness to his role. Outside of work, he can usually be found in the gym, on the golf course or spending time with friends and family.
Anna Shepherd
PR & Social Media Manager
Anna is our PR and Social Executive at YV Global, leading all Social Media and PR activity across our jewellery brands. As a First-Class Business Management and Marketing graduate from Nottingham Trent University, she brings over four years of experience across the luxury beauty, fashion, sport and hospitality sectors. Anna began her career in New York working on high-profile events, including the Met Gala, and with leading publications such as Vogue. She later lived in Barcelona, where she gained valuable international experience while freelancing across a range of PR and marketing projects before moving into freelance.
With both agency and in-house expertise, Anna oversees end-to-end social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, while managing content creation, influencer relations, PR outreach, gifting campaigns, and events. She also leads studio shoot days and works closely with teams to enhance brand visibility, combining creativity, organisation, and strategic thinking to deliver impactful campaigns across all channels.
